a card to share

this really cute card came in the mail this week, and i just HAD to share it. the dove on the front is also an ornament.. and i'm pretty sure A.B. made it herself (she makes these awesome cards, and i am always soo impressed when one comes in the mail). i don't have a christmas tree, but i am hanging it on my aloe evera plant (its really big) until christmas eve, then i'm taking it with me to christmas at the boyfriends, and adding it to their tree (or whatever houseplant they have instead).

Nikolaus

today was Nikolaus, the day when German kids wake up to find sweets in their shoes, and the day of my annual Jesus Freaks action.. we went out to the homeless on werder platz with gifts. here a photo summary:


i got stuff for 25 gifts.. warm things, long underwear, socks and a hat or shall per gift.


we packed them up.


and took them to the streets..




people on werder platz were excited to get them!


they also got homemade cookies (i like to bake)


and coffee and tea.


we also invited them to a christmas service and party.

we were able to have some really good conversations, and even pray for a few people.
